Village Dentist, Dr. Godart,
Introduces New Drill Method

Dr. Glenn Godart of Chestnut Street recently started using an alternative to the dental drill. This new method, known as air abrasion, uses tiny particles carried to the tooth in a stream of air that gently and painlessly sprays away decay.

Dr. Godart says that this method is used on adults and on children who are at least three years of age. It is perfect for children who are making their first visit to the dentist with their first cavity. Patients, according to Dr. Godart, have no reason to be apprehensive because there are no injections and no drilling. He also says there is no discomfort.

The new KCP1000 unit is approved by the American Dental Association and the Food and Drug Administration. Dr. Godart said he would be happy to provide additional information.
